The other day I posted this picture on my personal Instagram and had a lot of people contact me and ask how I made them. These ones are made from paper, but the ones made from tissue paper are even cuter!
Here's what you need to make them...
-several colors of tissue paper (target is the best place for fun colors)
-string (or whatever you want to use to hang them)
First thing is to take one sheet of tissue paper and fold it "hamburger" style. (That's right! I just made my kindergarten teaching sister very proud).
Now fold again (still hamburger) and once more so that you have completed 4 folds total.
Next, cut thin strips about an inch from the top. After that cut down the middle making two sections.
Once you unfold the two pieces, who should have a total of 4. The first time I did this craft I got 3 instead of 4, so I just cut the larger one in half, no big deal.
Then take one section and roll into a thin strip.
Finally, twist your section and fold in half while making a loop at the top. You can glue the loop together if you'd like, but I just twisted really tight and it held together fine. Then you can string them together and make your garland! This garland is great for so many things; baby showers, bridal showers, decor in your home etc! The possibilities are endless.
There are so many different crafts to do with tissue paper, it's insane! I just love this flower (of course). It makes my home feel so bright and springy.
