Here are some great websites for seeds:
Seed Saver -My favorite
Burpee -You are better off buying this brand at your local hardware store.
Once I have chosen the flowers/veggies that I want in my garden I like to map it all out!
This step is important but you don't have to spend as much time on it as I do!
Sometimes it's just fun to color!
Some seeds germinate longer than others, so once you purchase those seeds you can start them indoors. This is Craspedia also known as "Billy Balls" it has a long germination & it the blooms last basically forever!(they are the best "flower" to dry).
Can you believe that February is here?! 2015 is speeding by.
So now that it is February we need to start getting a tad more serious about our flower garden!
The next thing on our garden "to-do" list is buying seeds. Now you don't have to buy seeds, you could wait and buy smaller plants and transplant them, but this is going to save you A LOT of money.
Most seeds can be sown indoors, just look on the package for when they can be transplanted outside and start them accordingly.
Just remember all this work will give us .... Fresh cut flowers!
