Another Friday Favorites post, leave a comment with some of the things you are loving currently!
No. 1 Rifle Paper Co. Fabrics! Guys can you believe it? The best company in the world now are making fabrics! I ordered up a few for some projects I have planned. I will update when they are completed!
No. 2 These Sydney Hale Co. candles are so wonderful! There are a bit pricey, but they last a long time (50 hours!) and have the most unique and yummy scents ever! Also for ever purchase, 10% of the profits go to animal rescue!
No. 3 Quotes! No link here, I just like quotes! Especially simple ones with white backgrounds and black fonts. I like how simple and clean they look. Plus we all need a little encouragement every now and then.
No. 4 BRAIDS! I have been obsessed with all kinds of braids recently. Thee best blog/youtube tutorials are from Barefoot Blonde. She has super thick beauty hair and her braids are awesome and easy to do with her tutorials.
No. 5 The Happy Planner. This is the new planner I purchased for the next 18 months. Because of my busy schedule that can extend up to 2 years in advance, I need a planner with 18 months or more and because I am constantly using it/looking at it I wanted something fun!
This planner is amazing! Just watch this video and go then go to The Happy Planner site and buy one!
This pretty little bouquet and boutonniere made their grand appearance at a July Wedding. Olivia, the bride, had a vision of deep pink peonies and garden roses. This is what I came up with for her budget and idea....
Deep Pink Peonies
Light Pink Garden Roses
Every once in a while I like to throw in some different things on my blog, but still normally has some kind of floral theme (what can I say, it's my job).
This is a little banner I wiped up for fun.
Here's what you need;
Large stock paper or Index cards
and paint of some kind
Make your pattern, I made my size and shape the way I preferred, but this part is up to you! I went with the traditional bunting pattern.
This step is optional, but I always like to sketch out any and everything I do.
Then start painting! This is another step that you can let the creative juices fly! This is kind of an everyday banner, but you could make one for any occasion or holiday!
Next I waited for my watercolors to dry and wrote some cutesy quotes on them.
I hole punched them and added these cute reinforcement labels from targets Dollar section (they were still there as of 8/9/16).
Then I strung my the flags with my butchers yarn and fastened them to the wall with cute washi tape!
If you make this or ever have in the past I would love to see your banner! Post it on my facebook page!!
Jessica was such an easy bride! She knew the color scheme she wanted and that she liked Succulents, but other than that she gave me total freedom. I loved how this (I'm gonna call it Garden Beach Wedding) turned out! Kim Swain from The Inner Light Photography, did an amazing job captioning this joyous event.
Congrats Bill & Jessica!
